A few weeks ago was National Donut Day, and we celebrated by eating donuts (of course) and reading books about donuts, like, “The Hole Story of the Doughnut” and “If You Give a Dog a Donut.” It was a hit with the kids, and I have to say I enjoyed it too!
Well, now we have National Ice Cream Day coming up on July 21st (in 10 days)! Since I’m actually thinking ahead this time, I thought I’d share some ideas with you of great ways to celebrate with your kids–because childhood is short, and it’s fun to surprise and delight our kids with fun things like random celebrations.
Besides eating ice cream and reading books about ice cream, here are some other fun and easy things you could do with your kiddos!
