Sunshine boxes have been around for awhile now, but I just adore them. This way of spreading joy to others is so inspiring to me! I was putting together some ideas for sunshine boxes I’m going to make soon, and thought I would share these three themes with you.
While I was at it, I designed some fun printables to go in the box to make it extra sunshine-y! (See link at bottom of post.)
Note: If you haven’t heard of a Sunshine Box, it is simply a collection of goodies that are bright yellow. You package them up in a box with some yellow tissue paper, and send to a friend or special person in your life to add a little sunshine to their day!

When we’re not feeling well, there’s nothing more special than knowing someone cares. It might be a good idea to collect these items, and have a box on hand ready to go for when you hear of someone who could use this little pick-me-up.

Who needs a boost of sunshine in their life “just because”? This is the gift box for them. It includes an inspirational devotion book, and other lovely things that will add some cheeriness to their life long after the initial surprise. We all need some encouragement from time to time. If there is a friend who you’d like to love on with a special surprise in the mail, this is the way to go!

I went to the dollar store and found tons of purple things that were not only fun and pretty, but also useful to a college dorm student. I’m sure I got more fun out of making it than anything else! And like your post said, who doesn’t need a boost of sunshine just because!
