The motherhood journey is an adventure that is incomparable! So many adjectives describe the life of a mom. Special, surprising, exhausting, beautiful, messy, amazing… and so much more. This blog is simply the thoughts and inspiration that come to me as I learn from my kids about life! I like to share “real life” thoughts about being a mom, ideas for teaching your toddlers at home, and other snip-its from our life.
I started into “mom life” as an introverted, organized, ambitious 21 year old. I’ve come a long way out of my comfort zone as we’ve added four little ones to our home. Someone who valued quiet time reading, an uninterrupted schedule, and lots of time to play the violin—has turned into a coffee-loving, board book reading, under slept, over-loved, diaper bag toting, Mommy of four. My husband (Rick) and I were married in 2011. He is truly my perfect match! <3 We have a lot in common as we both love teaching, children, and the music business! These four are the biggest inspiration for this blog! Currently 5,4,2, and 3 months old, I can tell you our house is quite lively!! We began our homeschool this fall with Kenny in Kindergarten and Addie in Preschool. However, if you read my blog on a regular basis, you know I’m a firm believer in lifestyle learning for kids, so their education really began from birth!
